Juan Carlos Lopez Duran. President. Executive Producer
Juan Carlos López-Duran is an up-and-coming Latin American filmmaker, who has received credits on some of the most highly acclaimed film and television productions coming from the Latin-American film industry during the past decade.

In 1997 López-Duran co-founded Cinema SUR, which rapidly became one of the most influential film production companies in Latin America. He served as President of Cinema Sur from 1997 to 2001. He has extensive experience as a producer and director of feature films, documentaries, and television commercials. While at Cinema SUR, Lopez-Duran produced the feature film "A House with a view of the Sea" by Alberto Arvelo (2000), winner of more than 15 international awards and recognized as one of the best films ever produced by the Venezuelan Film industry. He also produced several influential feature films for some of Latin American’s most prominent directors including "La Pluma del Arcángel" by Luis Manzo (2000) y "Sangrador" by Leonardo Henriquez, (1999). In 2000, he developed, produced, and directed, with filmmaker Alberto Arvelo, "Los Últimos", a television drama series that became the highest ranked Venezuelan TV series of the past decade. In 1997 he took part in the production team of internationally acclaimed film "One life and Two Trails". His commercial clients have included many regional and national companies and government agencies such as TELEVEN, Alexis Montilla (la Montaña de los sueños, los Aleros), Oscasi, Trolmerida, & Mérida State Government.

He is currently the director and producer of feature film “White Song”, and television series “Soles del Sur” and “Against the Odds”. He is also currently the producer of more than 7 film and television projects.
